Final Day
The day started quiet, then the wind came in at speed from the NE – 15knots at the moment with all fleets on the water. Day Five Report Once again a late start to the day with plenty of games and music on the beach to help kill time. We managed to complete RR3 for Silver and Gold fleets. Repechages are complete and St Kentigern moves up to Gold, Waimea moves down to Silver and no change with the bottom of Silver and stop of Bronze (Repechage between Dio & Nelson Girls). Frida

Day 3 – A Waiting Game
Today the wind conditions re-enforced that racing is a waiting game! The wind was very slow in arriving and whilst we got on the water at the planned time this morning racing was delayed till late in the morning. The wind didn’t stay for long and continued to evade us even with the clouds that loomed in the distance these took until 3pm to give us the lift we needed to start racing. Gold and Silver fleets displayed some close racing and others that could not get over the fin

All fleets have managed to get through their repechage races and now it’s down to racing. With limited opportunity for great sailing conditions it made it hard to achieve lots of racing today. Results from the repecharge races were Gold to Silver: Wellington College Silver to Gold: Mahurangi College Silver to Bronze: Dio, Whangare

Updated link for Nationals 2018 & Day 1 Report
11.30am Day 2 – gold silver just going afloat. Report from Day 1 Good winds with some stronger gusts saw all of the fleets reefed on Sunday, this decision did mean we got teams racing and not just survival and capsize practice. Gold and Silver morning started slowly with all teams a little sedate and not pushing too hard, however, the competition increased throughout the afternoon as teams got themselves into the swing of things. There was a lot more competitive sailing and
