Central NI RR2
Despite a delayed start as weather and starter boxes were sorted, we started the day with the 4th pool position sail off between Napier Boys B and Napier Girls B to decide the final make up of the Gold and Silver Fleets. Napier Boys B managed to hold off Napeir Girls B and claim the last spot in the Gold Fleet, with Napier Girls B completing the Silver Fleet. We managed to finish the first round robin for the Gold/Silver Fleet even though the winds were lighter than on Day 1

Interesting results from Lower NI & Central NIs so far!
Central NIs – Day 1 – Taupo Today the fleet sailed in two pools, Grey & White and we managed to complete the first round, with a mixture of weather and wind strength and a number of course resets! Based on the results of the first round, we will start tomorrow, weather permitting, with a sail off between the 4th place team in each pool. The top three teams from each pool together with the winner from the sailoff will form Gold fleet and the losing team will join the bottom

Queen Charlotte Top of the South Champions
Queen Charlotte College have taken out the Top of the South ahead of last year’s bronze medallists, Marlborough Boys’ College. Congratulations to all teams and thanks to those who helped run such a great regatta.

Top of the South - 2016
Results from the Top of the South regional regatta, being held at Nelson Yacht Club, have the teams divided in to gold and silver, by mid-afternoon of day 2. Gold Fleet Queen Charlotte Marlborough Boys Christchurch Boys Mount Aspiring Marlborough Girls Nelson Girls Silver Fleet St Andrews Christ College Waimea Nelson Boys Garin/Motueka Nayland The order going into these fleets is as listed.

Auckland Grammar win South of the Bridge Regionals
From the results of the incomplete round robin from day 1, a gold and silver draw for day 2 was constructed, which worked well. The breeze filled in early, although light, but steady, out of the south west. RR2 was able to be completed, followed by the start of another split fleet round robin. However, by about race 12 at 3pm, there was a major wind-shift and sailing was abandoned. There was a quick prize-giving using the results from the completed gold and silver round robin

Close competition at the South of the Bridge Regatta
Provisional results after 33 races of RR 1 today, have Auckland Grammar, Kristin, Kings and St Kentigern A all on 5 wins.

North of the Bridge – Day 1, RR1
One full round robin has been completed at Algies Bay. The fleet was then split into gold and silver. The day finished soon after 5pm, after getting most of the next RR completed.

Auckland South of the Bridge Regatta - 2015
The South of Bridge Team Regatta was held on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th March. The regatta was hosted by Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, managed by Lyall Tresadern. Twelve 420s were used and there were lots of excellent supporting volunteers. On Wednesday a ten team RR of 45 races was sailed. On Thursday the fleet was split into silver and gold and two RRs of 20 races each was sailed. Regatta points were carried forward throughout the regatta. Auckland Grammar came out well

Central North Island Regatta - 2015
Top 3 teams were Tauranga Boys, New Plymouth Boys and Linisfarne. Girls Trophy was won by New Plymouth Girls, with the local Inter-College trophy being won by Tauhara.

North of the Bridge Regionals 2015
Kerikeri has won the North of the Bridge Regionals after 2 days of sailing (a total of 130 races), followed by Westlake Boys High School, Kristin, Kerikeri 2, Wentworth and Rangitoto. Westlake Girls won the silver fleet, ahead of Long Bay, Mahurangi, Whangarei and Keri Girls. Points were close in some cases with a few tie breaks to be worked through. The Central North Islands Regatta at Taupo had a delayed start, but managed to finish 51 races. Results at the end of day 1 – Gold fleet has Tauranga Boys, leading from New Plymouth Boys, New Plymouth Girls, Lindisfarne, Napier Girls A, Tauhara,Taupo Nui-a-Tia & Francis Douglas.
