Lake Ngaroto Training

The weekend saw twenty talented youngsters from the Waikato Thames and Rotorua regions, under the expert guidance of Hamish Hey (Yachting NZ), Ash Hammond (ex Team NZ Youth Champion, NZ National Teams Racing Champion & World Silver Medallist) and Tyler Davis (National Champion Teams Racing) have a super introduction to Team Sailing.Was very glassy first thing, so theory became the plan, but when the wind kicked in, the perfect conditions allowed the serious fun to begin the water.
