Close Racing at Top of South & Auckland Cup

After a slow start – a wait until 1pm yesterday before a beautiful gentle breeze came in all afternoon on Picton Harbour – managed to compete 47 races, coming off the water around 6pm.

Marlborough Boys and Queen Charlotte College have won their races so far but there are plenty more races before the end of the round robin.

Mt Aspiring and Motueka High School are  also doing well but anything can happen as we continue the racing  before dividing into gold and silver fleets.

Auckland Cup completed one round robin for both Gold and Silver on Day 1. Close between Kristin, Westlake Boys, Auckland Grammar and King’s.
