Covid-19 Update – SSNats 2020

Due to the ever changing Covid-19 situation most of the regional events have now been suspended for the time being.

This is formal notification that the Secondary Schools Team Sailing Nationals at Lake Hood this year has been cancelled.

We feel that the April 6 review date for a decision was too distant for teams to attempt to request refunds on accommodation, etc.

Looking ahead NZTSA is considering the possibility of holding some regattas during the Winter Tournament Week eg regionals, then possibly a Nationals at Algies Bay in the September/October holiday period.

On the hopeful side, the Open Nationals, at this stage, is scheduled for the usual Queen’s Birthday Weekend slot (30 May – 1 June)
