Final Results from the National & Interdominion Championships 2022

After a long, long day of racing, a few different wind directions and lots of whistles and flags – the Secondary Schools Team Sailing National Championships & Interdominion Championships has come to a close.
Congratulations are in order for every team across the fleet for their efforts throughout the week, we know that all the school teams will be driving and flying home exhausted at the end of a long hard week.
The biggest congratulations are in order for Takapuna Grammar School, who have won the National Championship and the Interdominion Championship at the first time of asking! They were followed closely behind by the Napier Boys Team and the team from Glendowie College in the NZL National Championships.
The Girls National Championships was taken out by the team from Nelson College for Girls, followed by the Whangarei Girls and the Christchurch Combined Girls team.
The Interdominion placings were taken by Takapuna Grammar, followed by Napier Boys and then Brisbane Grammar in 3rd place.
The silver fleet was won by Auckland Grammar School and the bronze was taken out by local team Mahurangi College.
