Updates - Umpires

At this stage we are short of umpires for the event, – if you know people who may be keen, please ask them to contact Ross or Gay at NZTSA.

There is an Umpires’ Seminar being held on the Sunday afternoon (12th) & Monday (13th April) for any who wish to revise the rules, or go further to become qualified (i.e. sit the exam during the week, plus a have an on-water assessment)

Remember entries for Nationals close next week on 19 March. For clarification – as pairings can be changed during the regatta, the entry form only requires the team members names  – order is not important at this stage. However, skipper/crew combinations will need to be confirmed at registration to ensure the minimum weight of 110kg is met. Also, remember to include the name of the team’s nominated support person who will assist with running the regatta, along with their preferred task.

The Central North Island Regatta is looking to be busy with possibly 13 entries. Entries for North of the Bridge (Algies) close Sunday 15th March. Auckland South Wednesday 18th March and Top of the South close Friday 20th March.
